Grade calculator for ISA students

Last updated: May 2026

TL;DR

GradeUP! collects absolutely no grades or personal data. Everything runs locally in your browser. Nothing is ever sent anywhere.

What data does GradeUP! collect?

No grades or personal data. GradeUP! does not collect, store, transmit, or share your academic information, grades, averages, or any other personal data.

We only store local timestamps (6-hour cooldown) to avoid showing the same promotional message repeatedly. This data never leaves your device.

How does it work?

GradeUP! is a browser extension that reads the visible grades on your ISA school portal to calculate the minimum grades you need to adjust your average. This processing happens entirely within your own browser, on your device.

No grades, averages, or conversation data ever leaves your browser. No network request is made by this extension.

What permissions does GradeUP! use, and why?

PermissionWhy it is needed
Content scripts on ISA portal To read visible grades and inject the calculator UI. No data is extracted or stored.
chrome.storage.local To store promotional notification cooldown (6 hours). Falls back to localStorage if unavailable. This data never leaves your device.

Third-party services

GradeUP! uses no third-party services, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking libraries of any kind.

Children's privacy

GradeUP! does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
